How to Screen Cast Android to Android? [7 Tools]

Can you cast your Android phone to another Android? Yes, definitely. There are many software to meet the need, such as screen mirroring apps, meeting apps, remote support apps, etc. Those tools are equipped with screen sharing features; and some with additional functions for work or instruction purposes.

Wondering how you can screen mirror Android to Android? Here are seven tools.

1. ApowerMirror

ApowerMirror is known for its flexibility and cross-platform compatibility. It supports wireless and USB mirroring, and its AirCast feature is available to screen mirror between devices in both directions; for example,

How to use ApowerMirror to cast Android to Android?

Step 1: Install the ApowerMirror mobile app on both Android phones.

Step 2: On the sender Android phone, you need to log in to your ApowerMirror account.

You need to buy AirCast before you use it (pricing: $7.48 - $99.98).  

Step 3: Tap AirCast at the bottom menu.

You will see a 9-digit code given for the connection.

Step 4: Open the app on the receiver Android phone.

Step 5: Tap AirCast. You will proceed to the cloud mirroring window, which allows you to enter the code provided by the sender's phone.

Step 6: Tap the mirror button at the right and Start now.

By this time, your sender Android phone is mirrored.

2. AirDroid Cast

Using AirDroid can be very easy to screen mirror from Android to Android. It provides a web page (https://webcast.airdroid.com/) which can simplify the connection process.

Before started, you need to install the AirDroid Cast app on one of your Android phone. This app is for the sender device and with a scanning feature.

Step 1: Open AirDroid Cast on your phone.

Step 2: In the Cast the screen menu, you can see options for entering code and scanning. Tap the scanning icon.

Step 3: Open this URL(https://webcast.airdroid.com/) using the phone browser on your receiver Android phone. You can see a QR code and a 9-digit code on the page.

Step 4: Use your sender phone to scan the QR code in the browser.

Step 5: Allow the permission. And you will see the screen mirroring begin.

3. Google Meet

Although Google Meet is a video communication tool actually, its screen share feature can be used to cast Android to Android. Steps are easy. First, install Google Meet on your Android phones.

Step 1: Create a meeting on the sender phone. Open Google Meet > New > Create a new meeting > Copy (the icon beside the link).

Step 2: Send the meeting link to the receiver phone. You can just send it via message apps or by email.

Step 3: On the receiver phone, open Google Meet > Search bar > Enter a Meet Code > Join. The code is a series of characters that show at the end of the link.

Step 4: Now use your sender phone to start the meeting.

Step 5: Tap More > Share screen > Start Sharing.

4. Zoom

Quite similar with Google Meet, Zoom can be used for screen mirroring Android to Android. Still, make sure that you have install Zoom on both phones.

Step 1: Log into Zoom. Tap More > Profile (tap your account name) > swipe down and find the Personal meeting ID (a 9-digital number).

Step 2: Open Zoom on your receiver phone. Tap Share Screen at the top of the screen.

Step 3: Enter the Personal meeting ID in the window.

Step 4: Tap START NOW to begin screen casting.

5. AweSun

AweSun is a software for remote support and remote control. A screen sharing feature is accompanied. One good advantage of AweSun is that it supports multiple platform remote access, such as mobile to mobile (Android & iOS), mobile to PC, PC to mobile, and PC to PC.

Here, I will illustrate how to use it to cast from Android to Android.

Step 1: Install the apps on the two Android phones.
- AweSun for Android: install it on phone A that you want to receive the screen.
- AweSun Client: install it on the phone B that you want to send the screen.

Step 2: Open both apps and sign in with the same account.

Step 3: Set an Access Password in phone B.

Step 4: In phone A, tap Devices at the bottom, and then tap select phone B.

Step 5: Now you can see the View button. Tap it and enter the Access Password set in phone B.

This feature allows you to view phone B's screen but no remote control action.

6. Splashtop

Splashtop is a remote support and control tool also. To use it, you can:

Step 1: Install Splashtop Business on Phone A. Go to Google Play to install the app.

Step 2: Install Splashtop SOS on Phone B.

Step 3: Go to Phone A. Open Splashtop and log into your account. Tap SOS at the bottom.
You will see a blank to enter a code.

Step 4: Open the SOS app on phone B. A connection code will appear immediately.

Step 5: Enter this code into the blank on phone A.

As the connection established, you can view the screen right away.

7. Chrome Remote Desktop + Kingshiper

This free method requires you to install Chrome Remote Desktop and Kingshiper Screen Mirroring. Your PC will act as an intermediary. And the entire process will go as:

  • Part 1 - Cast Android phone A to PC
  • Part 2 - Cast PC to Android phone B

Part 1: Cast Android phone A to PC

a. Install Kingshiper for desktop on your PC and launch.

b. Install the Kingshiper app on Android phone A.

c. Keep both devices in the same WiFi.

d. Open the app and tap the PC name to start mirroring.

You can see that your phone's screen mirrors and shows on the PC.

Part 2: Cast PC to Android phone B

Chrome Remote Desktop is a free app from Google that allows you to remotely access and control your computer from the mobile phone. You can find the app via Google Play.

a. Open https://remotedesktop.google.com/ on your Chrome browser.

b. Choose Access my computer.

c. Go to Remote Support > Share this screen. Click the download button to install the Chrome Remote Desktop Extension.

d. As you add the extension to the browser, click Accept & Install to install the Chrome Remote Desktop Host application.

The host application will make your computer to be remote-accessible by other devices.

e. Refresh the page. In Remote Support > Share this screen, you can see a blue button for "Create Code."
Click the button to get a 12-digit number.

f. Install the Chrome Remote Desktop app on your Android phone B. You can search it in the Google Play.

Sign in the app and use the same google account as your PC Chrome browser.

g. Open the app on your Android phone. Tap the menu button at the top left. Next, tap Remote Support.

h. Enter the 12-digit number code that appears on the PC. Tap Connect.

i. On your PC, a pop-up window will show up. Click SHARE to allow the access of your Android phone.

At this moment, you can use phone B to see the PC screen that with phone A's screen casting.
