Netflix, as a popular streaming platform, has made itself convenience to cast on smart TVs, such as using Chromecast and cables. However, what if you want it to cast to laptop? Does Netflix work well on that?
In this article, we’ll take you through various methods to cast Netflix content from phone to laptop, including using third-party and built-in apps, with and without Wi-Fi.

However, if you're looking for the native casting feature for laptops, sorry, there are no options. The Cast icon, which you can find on the Netflix mobile app, is used for casting phone to a TV. And the in-app casting is only available for some Netflix plans.

1) Open the Netflix app on your Android phone; and tap My Netflix > Menu > App Settings > Smart Downloads > turn on Downloads for You.
2) Find the video and tap Downloads for You.
3) Enable USB Debugging.
Go to Settings > About Phone > Tap on Build Number (6 or 7 times until you are notified that the Developer Options is enable) > back to Settings > Developer Options > enable USB Debugging.
4) Use a USB cable to connect your phone and laptop.
You should select "Transfer files" for the USB settings.
5) Install and open the SCRCPY folder.
6) In the SCRCPY directory, click the scrcpy-noconsole.vbs file.
You will see your phone screen pops up immediately.
Optionally, you can activate the casting feature by using the Command Prompt.
7) As you see the phone screen on the laptop, open Netflix app and play the downloaded video.
