Quicktime Screen Record on Windows: Can You? How? [Guide]

QuickTime Player is a Mac app with screen recording capabilities. Though it is primarily for macOS, it can also be used on Windows.

This involves the original design purpose of QuickTime. Apple created QuickTime to handle video, audio, and interactive content at the beginning. And later, the company wanted .mov (QuickTime Movie) files to be playable on both macOS and Windows. Because QuickTime was widely used in education, film, and multimedia CD-ROMs. Therefore, QuickTime for Windows was brought out to the public.

But now, Apple has stopped supporting QuickTime 7.7.9 for Windows. You can still download it from the official website. However, to use it, features may not work well.
